CONCORD – The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development has unveiled its first VisitNH Facebook Fan Benefit – an exclusive opportunity to take advantage of significant savings at New Hampshire businesses and attractions.
For the month of November, DTTD has partnered with the Inns and Spa at Mill Falls to offer the first VisitNH Facebook Fan Benefit – 50 percent off lake view accommodations at Church Landing on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith. The offer is available for mid-week accommodations, with limited restrictions.
A new Fan Benefit will be highlighted on the VisitNH Fan Page each month.
“In addition to our award-winning VisitNH.gov website, the VisitNH Page on Facebook has quickly become another popular place to find information on how to make a trip to New Hampshire easy, fun and affordable,” said Tai Freligh, Communications Manager for the NH Division of Travel & Tourism Development. “We can interact directly with our more than 1,500 fans by posting photos, videos and other information about New Hampshire.”
She said N.H. is the first state in New England to offer such an incentive and “it’s yet another way we are differentiating ourselves from others in the tourism industry.”
Facebook users can log onto www.facebook.com/VisitNH, become a fan, and receive benefits each month from New Hampshire businesses and attractions.
In addition to Facebook, DTTD is also actively involved on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/VisitNH), and Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/26514027@N04/. )
